Mike Trout isn't thinking about a contract extension or his potential turn in free agency.

The two-time American League MVP was asked on Friday about his future with the Los Angeles Angels while fielding questions about the reported 13-year, $330-million agreement Bryce Harper signed with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Trout said he isn't thinking about negotiating a contract extension with the Angels during spring training or throughout the regular season.

"With spring training you want to get ready for the season. You don't wanna worry about anything else," Trout said, according to Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times.

Trout also said he isn't contemplating his own future free agency despite Harper and Manny Machado taking so long to find their deals.

"It's not the time to think about that," he said.

The 27-year-old has two more seasons remaining on the six-year, $144.5-million extension he signed with the Angels in 2014.
