Nothing ignites a historic rivalry quite like two captains who hate each other.
During the first period of Canada's New Year's Eve clash with Russia, captains Max Comtois and Klim Kostin were each assessed penalties after a prolonged battle. Kostin went to the box for cross-checking, while Comtois served two minutes for diving.
