Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay will undergo an MRI on his wrist Tuesday after being forced out of Monday Night Football versus the Oakland Raiders, Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said postgame, according to The Athletic's Nicki Jhabvala.
Lindsay sat out the entire fourth quarter as the Broncos fell 27-14 to the Raiders.
The Pro Bowler sits at 1,037 rushing yards for the season, just 67 yards shy of the all-time rookie record for an undrafted player held by Dominic Rhodes. Lindsay, Rhodes, and LeGarrette Blount are the only undrafted players in NFL history to run for 1,000 yards in their rookie campaign.
The Broncos will take a 6-9 record into their season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers.
