Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks called his team's performance in a Thursday night 45-10 beatdown by the Denver Broncos "embarrassing" and said "our fans deserve better," but refused to say if Arizona is ready to make personnel changes after dropping to 1-6.

"You guys are going to ask me about changes, that's premature, to talk about any changes right now," Wilks said, according to NFL.com's Kevin Patra. "Everybody's going to be evaluated across the board, and as I said before, we got to find ways to move this in the right direction."

The Cardinals have scored the second-fewest points in the league (92) while having played one more game than the league-worst Buffalo Bills (76), leading to speculation that offensive coordinator Mike McCoy's job is in peril.

However, Wilks tried to steer the blame away from McCoy.

"I didn't say Mike McCoy at all. When we talk about changes, I'm talking about changes that could be personnel, it could be players, it could be whatever it may be, it could be scheme," the coach said. "So when I say it's premature, it's premature to talk about it at this particular time without going through the evaluation."

While Wilks is not ready to discuss McCoy's future, his OC is currently "in the crosshairs," per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
