Marco Asensio came to play against Croatia.

With Spain already leading Tuesday's Nations League contest 1-0 thanks to a header from Saul Niguez, the Real Madrid winger belted in a second for La Furia Roja against the World Cup runner-up, capitalizing on an errant pass outside the box and firing an unstoppable effort past Lovre Kalinic in goal.

Though he won't get credit for Spain's third, which will go down as an own goal by Kalinic, his venomous left-footed strike off the bar served as the catalyst for the Croatian goalkeeper's misfortune just minutes later.
