Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos, head coach Pete Carroll confirmed postgame.

Baldwin was facing recurring knee problems throughout the preseason, but Carroll confirmed the veteran wide receiver injured his other knee Sunday. Baldwin finished the game without a catch.

The 29-year-old has established himself as one of the Seahawks' offensive leaders alongside quarterback Russell Wilson. Baldwin caught 75 passes for 991 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games during the 2017 season, earning his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection. He also led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2015.

If Baldwin misses any further time, Brandon Marshall and Tyler Lockett will likely see increased targets.
