Report: 76ers agree to 1-year, $4.4M deal with Nemanja Bjelica

The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to a deal with power forward Nemanja Bjelica, sources told Jake Fischer of Sports Illustrated.

Bjelica became an unrestricted free agent when the Minnesota Timberwolves declined to extend him a qualifying offer. His contract with the Sixers is reportedly for the room mid-level exception, which is valued at approximately $4.4 million.

It is a one-year deal, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 30-year-old stretch big averaged 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 41.5 percent from 3-point range with the Wolves last season. He should help the Sixers replace some of the frontcourt shooting they lost when Ersan Ilyasova signed with the Milwaukee Bucks.

This deal takes care of the remainder of Philadelphia's cap space, barring a possible Jerryd Bayless buyout.
