Madden hands out 99 rating to 7 stars

EA Sports revealed the highest-rated players in the latest edition of the Madden 19 video game.

The video-game giant handed out 99 ratings to seven stars: the Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers, the Pittsburgh Steelers' Antonio Brown, the Los Angeles Rams' Aaron Donald, the Denver Broncos' Von Miller, the Carolina Panthers' Luke Kuechly, and Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots.

Brady's character earned 99 attributes in awareness, stamina, play action, and accuracy.

His teammate, Gronk, is the top-ranked tight end in the game, earning a 97 rating for catches in traffic and 94 for spectacular catches.

Brown is the top wideout in the game with a 99 for catching and a 99 for catches in traffic.

Rodgers' best scores are 97 for throwing power and 97 for throwing on the run.

Fresh off a Defensive Player of the Year award, Donald earned a 99 in play recognition and a 98 for power move.

Miller's best qualities were highlighted with a 95 for finesse and 90 for agility.

Kuechly drew 99 ratings in both play recognition and awareness.

Madden welcomed the NFL stars to the 99 club with flashy awards.

The rookie ratings for this year's draft class will be unveiled on July 2.
