Profar joins Rangers' growing list of injured players
If things keep going this way for the Texas Rangers, they may not be able to field an entire team.
The Rangers lost yet another player to injury Monday when infielder Jurickson Profar was pulled from a game against the Tampa Bay Rays in the second inning after being wiped out by a slide from Mallex Smith.

Profar appeared to slam his head into the ground after his legs were taken out from underneath him. After being looked at by training staff, he left the field under his own power and was replaced by Drew Robinson.
The 25-year-old former top prospect is in concussion protocol and will be re-evaluated Tuesday.
Texas is already without injured starters Elvis Andrus, Rougned Odor, and Delino DeShields, with pitcher Doug Fister on the shelf as well.
