Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho isn't interested in picking sides after Pep Guardiola claimed agent Mino Raiola offered Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Manchester City, and instead suggests one of the two parties isn't being entirely honest.
The two tacticians meet on Saturday in a potential Premier League title-decider, but Mourinho was forced to once again address off-field concerns by reporters before the match.
"Guardiola says that, the agent denies, so one of them is saying the truth and one of them is not telling the truth," Mourinho told Sky Sports, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
"Honestly, I am not interested in knowing which one is the liar and which one is the honest guy. I am not interested in that."
Guardiola had revealed Raiola's offer in response to the agent's assertion that he was wrong to not play Zlatan Ibrahimovic while at Barcelona, calling the manager a "cowardly dog."
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager then questioned why Raiola would call him such a term if he wanted to do business with his outfit, offering, "He was interested in Mkhitaryan and Pogba to play with us? So he has to protect his players and has to know he cannot bring the players to a guy like me, like a dog. And comparing a dog is bad. It’s not good. He has to respect the dogs."
Raiola, as Mourinho pointed out, denied the claim, saying, "I would not speak to him about players; I would speak to Manchester City."
