Report: Lamar Jackson's draft stock trending up
Lamar Jackson may be making a strong case that prospective NFL draft picks don't need an agent.
Jackson's stock for the 2018 draft, taking place later this month, continues to trend upward, according to Jordan Schultz of Yahoo! Sports.
The Louisville product declined to hire an agent and is apparently being represented by his mother. Reports surfaced this past week that teams were having a difficult time setting up meetings, interviews, and even dinner with Jackson.
The 2016 Heisman Trophy winner was reportedly asked to work out as a wide receiver at the NFL combine, something he refuted, but he still skipped out on running the 40-yard dash at the combine and Lousiville's pro day.

Jackson is widely regarded to be outside this year's top group of quarterbacks consisting of Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen, and Baker Mayfield, as questions surround how he would fit into a conventional scheme.
He threw for 3,660 yards and 27 touchdowns while completing 59.1 percent of his 430 pass attempts this season. He added another 1,601 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, his second consecutive season topping 1,500 yards on the ground.
He was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2017, but ultimately lost the award to Mayfield.
