Tony Romo given 2000-1 odds at Corales Puntacana
To say Tony Romo is a long shot to win at his first solo PGA Tour event this weekend would be quite the understatement.
The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook has given the former NFL quarterback and current CBS analyst 2000-1 odds to win the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship.
To put into perspective just how much of an underdog he is, the next worst odds to win belong to Hunter Mahan and Tyler Duncan at 100-1.
Most of the world's top golfers are participating in the WGC-Match Play this weekend, so Romo is being brought in as a sponsor exemption due to a thin field lacking much star talent.
Romo has a plus-0.3 handicap and will be competing as an amateur, but those willing to sprinkle a bit of cash on him would certainly reap the rewards if he were somehow able to pull off a win.
