The Los Angeles Rams are keeping busy in the trade market as the 2018 league year approaches.

A league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter the Rams agreed to send linebacker Alec Ogletree and a 2019 seventh-round pick to the New York Giants in exchange for a fourth- and sixth-round pick in 2018.

Los Angeles signed Ogletree to a four-year, $42-million extension in October. He's due a $7-million guaranteed roster bonus next week, a $3-million base salary for the 2018 season, and a $6-million roster bonus in 2019 that becomes fully guaranteed next week, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Rams also offered Ogletree to the Kansas City Chiefs, but they declined.

Star L.A. running back Todd Gurley was quick to seemingly express his disapproval.

It's the Rams' third reported trade of the offseason. They apparently agreed to trade for Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters in late February, and it was reported last week that they'll send defensive end Robert Quinn to the Miami Dolphins.

General manager Les Snead also applied the franchise tag to safety Lamarcus Joyner on Tuesday.

No trades can be made official until March 14.
