The New York Jets apparently aren't the only ones preparing to throw a blank check at Kirk Cousins.

The impending free agent has become the "all-in" target for the Denver Broncos this offseason, sources told Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports.

The Broncos could create between $40 million and $50 million in cap space to help make a run at the veteran quarterback, added Robinson.

Cousins is set to hit the open market after the Washington Redskins reportedly agreed to trade for Alex Smith and opted against franchise tagging their starting quarterback for the third straight season.

Denver had the 20th-ranked passing offense and the 27th-ranked scoring offense in 2017, and cycled through Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler, and Paxton Lynch under center in its attempts to jump-start the struggling unit.
