Details of the trade sending cornerback Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams have come to light: The Kansas City Chiefs will reportedly receive a fourth-round pick in 2018 and a second-round pick in 2019, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The deal cannot be officially completed until the league year begins Mar. 14. The Chiefs agreed to trade the three-year veteran to the Rams on Feb. 23.
Peters has established himself as an elite defender. He made two consecutive Pro Bowls in 2015 and '16, and over his career, he's recorded 151 combined tackles, six forced fumbles, and 19 interceptions.
