WWE released Enzo Amore, real name Eric Arndt, on Tuesday. Phoenix Police are reportedly investigating the former cruiserweight champion after a woman came forward to say Arndt sexually assaulted her in October.

Arndt's release came one day after the WWE announced it had suspended him indefinitely.
An unnamed woman said Monday on Twitter she was raped inside a hotel room in Phoenix on Oct. 19. The Phoenix Police Department later confirmed to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that a report was filed and the incident is still under investigation.
Phoenix PD on Enzo Amore allegations: "On Monday, October 23, 2017, at around 2:30pm, Phoenix Police responded to a local hospital for a call of a sexual assault that had reportedly occurred on October 19, 2017 at 401 West Clarendon Avenue. This case is under investigation."
