WWE cruiserweight champion Enzo Amore has been suspended amid a police investigation after a women said he raped her in October.
"WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (a.k.a. Enzo Amore) has been suspended," the company said Monday in a statement.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, a woman who didn't want to be named tweeted the following Monday in regards to an incident she claimed happened in Phoenix in October:
"OKAY ... it's been long enough & I have been so so scared to share this. I was raped in mid-October by the WWE Enzo Amore (also known as Eric Arden) & Tyler Grosso & TOOPOOR let it happen as accomplices. I was in a mental hospital for 45 days after it. They ARE NOT good people."
A representative for the Phoenix Police Department confirmed to Pro Wrestling Sheet that a report was filed and that the incident is still under investigation.
Photos posted on Amore's Instagram account show he was in Phoenix on Oct. 18 and returned to Los Angeles the following night.
