Brady plays coy about status vs. Jaguars: 'We'll see' if I play
In his first time addressing the media this week, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wouldn't say for sure if he will be ready to play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Brady, who reportedly suffered a minor hand injury in practice Wednesday, wore gloves at his press conference, refused to talk about the ailment, and only answered "we'll see" when asked if he will play Sunday, according to Kimberly Jones of NFL Network.
He was officially listed as questionable.
Head coach Bill Belichick used similar tactics in his media availability Friday, characteristically keeping tight lips concerning his quarterback's health.
Brady was limited in Wednesday's practice before missing Thursday's session altogether, though he returned to the training field Friday, again on a limited basis. He has regularly been limited and absent from practices throughout the 2017 season with Achilles and shoulder injuries, but did not miss a single game.
