Benevento wins 2nd straight after historically futile start
Campania minnow Benevento won its second Serie A outing on the bounce after starting its maiden league campaign with a record 18-match winless streak.
Massimo Coda's second-half brace and Enrico Brignola's goal in the first minute of added time was enough to top sixth-placed Sampdoria 3-2 at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.

Coda's first was the best of the lot, but it's Brignola who now brandishes the distinction of the team's new good luck charm. The teenage forward's three appearances for the club have been the two victories against Chievo and Sampdoria and the shocking draw with AC Milan where shot-stopper Alberto Brignoli levelled in the 95th minute for a debut Serie A point.
Roberto De Zerbi's charges boast Serie A's third-longest active win streak behind Juventus and Napoli.
Benevento now has seven points on the campaign, eight adrift of 17th-placed Crotone, who last season secured Serie A safety with arguably the greatest escape in football history courtesy of 20 points in its final nine matches.
