NFL announces London games for 2018 season
The NFL announced Thursday its slate of games in London, England, for the 2018 season.
The Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders will meet in Week 6 on Oct. 14 at the new home of the Premier League's Tottenham Hotspur, the Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Philadelphia Eagles in either Week 7 or 8 on Oct. 21 or 28 at Wembley Stadium, and the Los Angeles Chargers will face the Tennessee Titans in Week 7 or Week 8 at Wembley Stadium.
The group would bring the total number of teams to play in the British capital to 29. The Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers, and Houston Texans have yet to make the trip across the pond.
A record four games were played in London in 2017. The goal was to play half of a home schedule of regular-season games in the city, as the NFL continues to gauge the prospect of placing a franchise there. The intention this year is to play the U.K. games in three consecutive weeks.
