Jaguars win AFC South after Titans' loss

The Jacksonville Jaguars won their first division title since 1999 by virtue of the Tennessee Titans' loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Jacksonville still has a shot at a top-two seed and a first-round bye and can improve its stock with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The Jaguars could have clinched the division with a win of their own against the 49ers, had the Titans managed a victory.

Jacksonville had already secured a playoff berth, guaranteeing its first postseason appearance since 2007, buoyed by the league's best defense. The Jaguars had held opponents to 14.9 points per game prior to Sunday's action.
