Fournette questionable vs. Texans after week of missed practices

Philip G. Pavely / USA TODAY Sports

Leonard Fournette missed practice for the third consecutive day on Friday and the Jacksonville Jaguars officially listed the running back as questionable for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

The rookie has fought various ailments throughout the season, but it's a new quad injury that threatens to keep him out of the Week 15 contest.

The 9-4 Jaguars can clinch their first playoff berth since 2007 with a win on Sunday, but can also stamp their ticket to the postseason with losses from other AFC contenders. Jacksonville currently sits one game behind the New England Patriots for the second seed and a first-round bye.

The Jags possess the league's best running game, averaging 150 yards on the ground per contest.

Fournette is the NFL's seventh-leading rusher and is 77 yards shy of a 1,000-yard season.
