Vancouver Canucks forward Sven Baertschi will miss four-to-six weeks with a fractured jaw, the team announced Monday.
The 25-year-old was in the midst of a breakout season, with eight goals and 10 assists in 30 games.
The timing of the injury is especially poor for the Canucks given that Bo Horvat is already out for up to six weeks, meaning two-thirds of their potent top line will be sidelined for the near future.
