New York Jets quarterback Josh McCown broke his left hand during the team's 23-0 loss on Sunday to the Denver Broncos, coach Todd Bowles told reporters after the game.
McCown was 6-of-12 for 46 yards and no touchdowns before exiting the game in the third quarter and being replaced by Bryce Petty.
Bowles said the team isn't certain whether or not the injury will end McCown's season. The Jets head to New Orleans to face the Saints next Sunday.
