Shazier starts physical rehab after spinal stabilization surgery

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier has begun physical rehabilitation following spinal stabilization surgery, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center announced Thursday.
The nature of Shazier's rehab and current physical mobility weren't detailed in the statement, but he's reportedly showing gradual improvement since undergoing the procedure Dec. 7.
Pittsburgh placed him on injured reserve Tuesday, officially ending his season.
