Report: Shazier showing gradual improvement after spinal surgery

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is showing gradual improvement after undergoing spinal stabilization surgery earlier in the week, ESPN's Adam Schefter has learned.
Shazier remains hospitalized after suffering an injury in Monday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Doctors are controlling and limiting his movement and are waiting for swelling and bruising to subside before progressing with the rehabilitation process, Schefter reports, citing sources.
A number of Steelers will take the field Sunday wearing cleats in support of Shazier.
