Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler has cleared the concussion protocol and will start Sunday versus the Denver Broncos, head coach Adam Gase announced Wednesday.
Cutler was injured in a Week 12 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was replaced by Matt Moore under center.
Cutler also missed last week's matchup against the New England Patriots.
In nine games this season, Cutler has completed 64 percent of his passes for 1,602 yards, 13 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
The 4-7 Dolphins have lost five straight games and are in desperate need of a win streak to vault back into the AFC playoff picture.
