J.J. Watt celebrated a major milestone in his recovery from a tibial plateau fracture Tuesday, sharing a video on Instagram of him taking his first steps without the assistance of crutches.
The Houston Texans defensive end was ruled out for the season after injuring his left leg in a Week 5 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. His rehabilitation was expected to take six-to-nine months from the time of the surgery.
