Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin is dealing with a torn meniscus in his right knee, the team announced Monday, according to Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News.
The Bills didn't provide a timetable for Benjamin's return. The pass-catcher missed Sunday's win over the Kansas City Chiefs due to the injury.
Benjamin has failed to make a substantial impact for the Bills since arriving in a last-minute trade-deadline day deal from the Carolina Panthers. He has caught four passes for 62 yards in two appearances.
However, Benjamin remains the top target in what is arguably an average wide receiver group. If he is forced to miss time, it could hurt the 6-5 Bills' chances of snagging a wild-card spot and ending their 17-year playoff drought.
