Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Roy Miller was arrested Saturday morning in Jacksonville, Fla. and charged with domestic battery, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco.

He was scheduled to appear in court Saturday at 1 p.m. ET in Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Department of Corrections.

"This morning we were informed about an incident involving one of our players, Roy Miller," the Chiefs said in a statement. "We are still in the process of gathering details on the situation. We will have no further comment at this time."

Miller has appeared in seven games this season since joining Kansas City as a free agent in the offseason. The Chiefs are on a bye this week.
