Joe Camporeale / USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant suffered an ankle sprain during Sunday's 28-17 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Jason Garrett revealed postgame.

Bryant left the contest during the fourth quarter and limped off the field.

The wide receiver downplayed the severity of the injury, telling reporters his ankle is merely sore and bruised.

Prior to leaving the game, Bryant caught six passes for 73 yards.

The Cowboys square off against the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday.
