Gary Kubiak has been out of the NFL since he was forced to retire after the 2016 season due to health concerns, but the ex-Denver Broncos head coach is believed to be open to a 2018 return as an offensive coordinator in the right place, sources told Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.
Due to the scarcity of top-tier offensive coordinators, Kubiak would likely be in demand, though he would look to join a contender with a solid quarterback situation, added La Canfora,
Kubiak has excelled as OC in the past. He engineered a 12th-ranked offense while with the Baltimore Ravens in 2014 - a unit that has struggled in the three years since his departure.
