Justin Verlander was cruising for the Houston Astros in Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday until he ran into Corey Seager in the sixth inning.
After giving up just one run on one hit - a Joc Pederson homer - Verlander made a mistake and left a fastball in the zone for Seager, who drove it over the left-field fence to give the Dodgers a 3-1 lead. Seager yelled after making contact, presumably knowing he got all of it.
It was Seager's first home run of the postseason, and the third of his playoff career.
