Report: Jaguars' Fournette expected to play in Week 7 despite foot injury

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette is expected to suit up for the Week 7 tilt against the Indianapolis Colts, despite suffering a non-contact foot injury in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Fournette went down untouched in the fourth quarter, rolling his ankle as the turf gave way. He was cleared to return to the game, but stayed on the sidelines as the Jaguars attempted an unlikely comeback.

"It's nothing serious," Fournette said, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. "It was a hard fought game through the game. Like I said, it's all about consistency with this team. As one of the leaders on this team, I take fault. We have to come out and play better."

Fournette has basically been the entire Jaguars offense in his first NFL season and is only behind fellow rookie Kareem Hunt in total rushing yards.
