Yankees rub salt in Indians' wounds via social media
The New York Yankees proved a lot of people wrong Wednesday, and they made sure to remind them.
After capping off their remarkable American League Division Series comeback against the Cleveland Indians, the Yankees were just as devastating on Twitter, digging up a post from Indians infielder Jose Ramirez that erroneously predicted a Game 3 win at Yankee Stadium.

Ramirez's old tweet wasn't the only one the Yankees resurfaced. They also brought back the classic photo of Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James holding up a Yankees cap, and took a second jab at the Indians.

New York's savagery also stemmed to Instagram.
Sportsmanship won out in the end, though, as both teams congratulated each other on their respective success.
Social media jabs are fun, but mad respect to the @Indians on a historic season and a great series. https://t.co/bjOHZbfwRB
