Roethlisberger fires back at reporters: 'I don't question myself'

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is singing a new tune after expressing self-doubt following one of the worst performances of his career in a 30-9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Roethlisberger said, "maybe I don't have it anymore" after throwing five interceptions Sunday.

It appears Roethlisberger's pity party has ended and he chafed at the suggestion that his best years are behind him.

"They can question me. I don't question myself," Roethlisberger said via ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "No offense to any of you guys, but it doesn't matter to me how you guys question me."

Roethlisberger continued his offensive against reporters, citing his decorated resume.

"Two Super Bowls, 100-some years, 300-some, I don't even know my own stats," Roethlisberger said. "I've been playing this game longer than you've probably been covering it."

Although there's been a narrative crafted around Roethlisberger's rapid decline, the Steelers have a share of the AFC North lead at 3-2. Now, Roethlisberger is presented with a chance to make his skeptics eat their words, squaring off against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs on the road Sunday.
