Jerry Jones and Donald Trump are on the same page in regards to players standing for the national anthem.

After the Dallas Cowboys owner threatened to not allow his players who disrespect the national anthem to play, Trump tweeted a congratulations to Jones.

Jones says that his idea to discipline players who don't stand for the anthem was cited from an NFL game operations policy, which was brought to his attention by Trump.

While Jones made the comments Sunday, head coach Jason Garrett said that defensive linemen Damontre Moore and David Irving, who raised their fists during the anthem, will "absolutely not" be disciplined for their actions.
