Report: Giants bracing for injured Marshall to miss multiple games
The New York Giants are bracing for wide receiver Brandon Marshall to miss multiple games due to his injured ankle, Kimberly Jones of NFL Network reports.
Marshall was one of four Giants receivers to exit Sunday's contest against the Los Angeles Chargers with an injury. All four are expected to miss the team's Week 6 matchup versus the Denver Broncos.
Giant shoes to fill:
| Injured WR | Injury |
|---|---|
| Odell Beckham Jr. | Fractured ankle |
| Sterling Shepard | Sprained ankle |
| Brandon Marshall | Sprained ankle |
| Dwayne Harris | Broken foot |
Marshall, who signed a two-year contract with the Giants during the offseason as a free agent, has 18 receptions for 154 yards through five games this season.
Giants likely going to Denver to face the best secondary in football with Lewis/Rudolph/King and maybe Powe as the WRs.

The Giants will almost certainly look to sign at least one pass-catcher this week, but it probably won't be free agent Victor Cruz. Head coach Ben McAdoo said Monday bringing the former Giant back isn't an option at this time, to the best of his knowledge.
