Kirk Cousins and wife welcome 1st child

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins and his wife, Julie, have welcomed their first child, Cooper.

He was born Friday night, according to Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post.

The couple announced the pregnancy in March in a creative way ...

... and then revealed the gender of their child in an even more comical fashion.

Cousins was back at practice Saturday ahead of the Redskins' Monday nighter in Kansas City against the Chiefs.
