Carolina Panthers star quarterback Cam Newton's abilities won't be restricted to start the year after he underwent offseason surgery, according to his coach.
"There are no limitations in what we can or can't do," Ron Rivera said Wednesday to ESPN.com's David Newton when asked about his starting QB's status for Week 1.
Newton underwent surgery in March to repair a partially torn rotator cuff, but it appears the former MVP is fully healthy heading into the season.
