Joe Haden may not be a free agent for long, as the former Cleveland Browns cornerback is meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday night, sources told Ian Rapoport and Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network.
Haden, cut by the Browns earlier Wednesday, is not subject to waivers and is able to sign with any team after 4:00 p.m ET.
The two-time Pro Bowler is familiar with the Steelers organization, having spent his entire career in the AFC North alongside the storied franchise.
Whether it's the Steelers who sign him, it seems the 28-year-old wion't be a free agent for long, as ESPN is reporting the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs are also interested in Haden.
