Jaguars to start Henne over Bortles for 3rd preseason game

The Jacksonville Jaguars will start Chad Henne at quarterback over Blake Bortles for their third preseason game Thursday against the Carolina Panthers, the team announced.
Head coach Doug Marrone said Bortles' job was at risk after a poor showing in Jacksonville's second preseason contest. The 25-year-old is still expected to see time with the first-team offense Thursday.
Henne has not started a game since Bortles' rookie season in 2014, but was a regular starter with the Jaguars and the Dolphins from 2009 to 2013. The 32-year-old was Miami's second-round pick in 2008.
Bortles threw for 3,905 yards with 23 touchdowns and 16 interceptions last season as Jacksonville stumbled to a 3-13 record.
