Report: Broncos' Sanders involved in car accident Tuesday

Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was involved in a car accident Tuesday, as his vehicle was struck by an 18-year-old woman, Erin Powell of KUSA reports.

Neither Sanders nor the woman suffered serious injuries. The Broncos wide receiver noted he had a headache before heading to practice where he participated without further incident.

Both parties were cited by police for careless driving.

Sanders was named to his second Pro Bowl last season and is expected to play a major role in the Broncos' offense this fall.
