Beckham believes he will be 'alright' after injury exit

Odell Beckham Jr. had a scary moment in his first preseason game on Monday, but after further review, all is well.

The New York Giants receiver was forced from the game after a hit by Cleveland Browns cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun left him with a sprained ankle. While others condemned the hit, Beckham and his coach didn't take issue with the low blow.

"It's just football in my opinion," Beckham told reporters after the game. "I think I'll be alright."

Beckham was asked if he had been concerned about the injury and if he felt "relieved" with the diagnosis.

"That's a great word (to describe my feelings)," said Beckham.

After the game, he sent out a tweet to convey his relief.

Beckham said he will undergo further tests on Tuesday back at the Giants' facility, but his mood and ability to jog after the game is a good sign he won't have a major injury.
