Odell Beckham Jr. was forced to leave the New York Giants' preseason loss Monday night after taking a scary hit to his lower left leg. The team announced that Beckham was diagnosed with an ankle sprain.

Beckham was then seen kneeling in pain before reaching the locker room.

Beckham will not return to the game Monday night. He was also tested for a concussion and cleared the protocol, but underwent further tests on his ankle. Beckham appeared back on the Giants' sideline in the second half wearing street clothes, walking under his own power.

After the game, Beckham was seen jogging to the locker room.

The catch on which the injury occurred was the 24-year-old's third of the game. The 10-6 loss was the first preseason contest he has participated in this year.
