Junior dos Santos' management team released a statement Friday night, revealing the fighter tested positive for a diuretic called hydrochlorothiazide, which can be used as a masking agent.
The statement also said they had no idea where it came from and they are testing Dos Santos' supplements for contamination.

Dos Santos was pulled from his UFC 215 fight with Francis Ngannou on Friday after he was flagged for a potential doping violation, but it was initially unclear what caused it.
The UFC is searching for a replacement to face Ngannou at the event on Sept. 9 in Edmonton, Alberta.
