Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco did his best to downplay a back injury that some reports suggest could force him to miss more than a month.
Flacco, who wouldn't call his ailment a disc injury, told reporters Friday he's dealing with "stiffness" and is hopeful he will miss only a week of training camp.
The 32-year-old added he isn't even thinking about the possibility of missing the regular-season opener.
Back injuries are tricky and can linger, but for now it sounds like the Ravens shouldn't be particularly concerned about their starter.
The Ravens added former arena league quarterback David Olson on Friday, rather than Colin Kaepernick (as some reports suggested they might), but Olsen is likely just a camp arm.
