Study: Deshaun Watson, T.J. Watt popular Twitter follows among rookies

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has all other rookies beat when it comes to Twitter followings.

A study conducted by Fanatics examined some of the most followed college football prospects to see how the draft affected their social sphere. Watson was the most followed prospect on Twitter heading into the draft and remained in the top spot after with an increase of nearly 115,000 followers.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt, the younger brother of Texans star J.J. Watt, saw the biggest increase at 80.2 percent, and also gained the most female Twitter followers of any rookie. Former LSU running back Leonard Fournette, meanwhile, had the lowest increase at just 7.5 percent after being selected fourth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
