The Buffalo Bills have signed veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin.

It's a one-year deal worth $2.75 million with $1.25 million in incentives, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Boldin, who reportedly wanted to stay close to home in Florida and play for a Super Bowl contender, probably didn't meet either goal with this signing. He agreed to join the Bills last week, then backed out, then changed his mind again, according to Schefter.

Boldin will add depth to a thin receiving corps that was set to rely on rookie Zay Jones as a starter opposite the oft-injured Sammy Watkins.

At 36 years old, Boldin is on the verge of a major milestone. He needs 566 receiving yards - roughly what he recorded last season with the Detroit Lions - to jump over Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson into the top 10 in career receiving yards.
