Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly set to make Neymar the world's most expensive signing by triggering the astounding €222-million release clause in the Brazil star's Barcelona contract, but only with the player's blessing.

Marca reports that PSG is willing to meet the buyout clause and bring Neymar to the Parc des Princes, offering him €30 million per year plus bonuses.

PSG will reportedly have to pay the full amount to pluck Neymar out of Camp Nou as Barcelona is not interested in selling the 25-year-old.

AS adds that Neymar's father will travel to Paris sometime this week to sit and meet with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Barcelona spokesperson Josep Vives offered that he was not worried about the prospect of losing Neymar when speaking at a news conference for the club's latest financial report.

"The only thing we care is he keeps being happy here," Vives said, as quoted by ESPN FC. "He played a magnificent season and he is still one of the best in the world.

"He is happy in the club and the club is happy with him. He verbalises it and he shows it with his attitude. We are relaxed about that and we only hope next season is better than the last one.

"Neymar's departure is not in club's imagination; the club just thinks of keeping the best players like him, one of our main symbols."
